These certifications are the result of the company’s commitment and focus on its various activities. The accurate selection of raw materials, the commitment to ensuring that employees work in a healthy environment and the utmost respect for the planet are the focal points of Coind’s work.
These certifications are a source of pride for the company, which has seen its efforts acknowledged, and most importantly are a guarantee for those who purchase Coind’s products. With these recognitions, customers are assured of receiving organic, high-quality products, created by technicians who work in absolute safety.
Coind’s pride and joy are the organic Natrue, Bios and Cosmos certifications, which are true achievements that define the quality of private label cosmetic products.
In fact, these organic certifications not only guarantee product quality for consumers and retailers, who can sell top-quality cosmetics but also testify to Coind’s commitment and dedication to our planet, Earth, which is our only home.
The NATRUE Standard is an international standard that sets out criteria for the production of natural cosmetics, natural cosmetics with organic components.
Bios srl has drawn up a technical standard (BCosO2 model) for the certification of cosmetics.
Depending on the type of certification, each cosmetic product must comply with set standards, with pre-set and verified composition percentages in order to obtain safe and effective end products.
COSMOS, resulting from the collaboration between the industry’s leading certification bodies and international organisations, is the main international standard for cosmetic products.
Fairtrade is an international organization that strives to improve the conditions of small agricultural producers in developing countries. It has defined standards that enable farmers and workers to rely on a more stable income and confidently look to their future.
Fairtrade certification guarantees producers a minimum price, which is the price farmers receive for their products, which never falls below the market price and is not dependent on market speculation. It is calculated by Fairtrade together with the agricultural producers themselves in order to cover the costs necessary for sustainable production.
However, if the market price is higher than the minimum price, farmers are paid the market price. Farmers also receive a Fairtrade premium which farmers and workers themselves decide how to spend. They can choose to improve production techniques, build roads and infrastructure, or spend it on education, training or social services.
ISO AND OHSAS CERTIFICATIONS
The set of standards aimed at ensuring quality management of the entire production process are at the core of ISO certification. Issued by the International Organization for Standardization, this recognition aims to ensure the highest possible degree of customer satisfaction, also in the post-purchase phase. As producers, at Coind Group we value the properties of our goods and continuously ensure that all phases of product creation are controlled and monitored.
OHSAS certification involves a set of standards aimed at ensuring the health and safety of all workers. The Company is fully committed to ensuring that all its employees work in a risk and threat-free working environment. The risk of occupational accidents can be reduced by appointing managers and supporting staff through training programmes. Coind systematically ensures that there are no threats of any kind to its workers at any of its plants.
UNI EN ISO 9001
ISO 9000 certification establishes a series of regulations and guidelines intended to provide requirements and references for the management and maintenance of a quality management system. These guidelines are established by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). There are various different ISO standards, focused on different aspects.
One of the best known is the UNI EN ISO 9001 certification, which defines the requirements of company quality management systems. This standard is based on a cyclical process, aimed at continuous improvement, based on the analysis of production situations and on the possibilities of permanently improving results.
Co.ind obtained this certification by ensuring rigorous company process controls, designed to meet customers’ explicit and implicit requirements.
UNI EN ISO 14001
UNI EN ISO 14001 certification is closely related to environmental sensitivity. This certificate was developed in order to rigorously define international standards regarding environmental management systems. The award of this certificate signifies that a company has adopted all the requirements and best practices necessary for ensuring that its industrial production is environmentally sustainable.
This certification completes and reinforces the natural path undertaken by Co.ind through its ISO 9000 and ISO 22000 certifications, and further underlines our company’s desire to offer quality products that are entirely eco-sustainable, as well as adopting organic products in some cases.
UNI EN ISO 22716
Specifically created for industries involved in the production of cosmetics, the UNI EN ISO 22716 certification sets out the good manufacturing practices for these products. This document ensures compliance with standards during the design, production, storage and shipping phases of cosmetics. Special attention is paid to packaging in order to minimise the environmental impact, by using materials that do not harm the ecosystem.
Each Coind product is produced according to the guidelines of good manufacturing practice to provide consumers with quality cosmetics that are absolutely not harmful to health. The premises and equipment for creating cosmetic products are controlled to ensure high hygiene and health and safety standards.
ISO 45001 – Management system for the health and safety of workers
The standard attests to the voluntary application of a system that promotes the improvement of worker health and safety conditions in workplaces.
FSC – Forest Stewardship Council
The international organisation Forest Stewardship Council® is an NGO that has been working for over 25 years to promote responsible management of forest resources worldwide.
The FSC® trademark on the packaging used by Coind for its coffee attests that the raw material used comes from a certification system that ensures responsible forest management and that the origin of its components can be traced and documented.
In fact, the packaging is certified according to the FSC “Chain of Custody”, which proves that the product is composed of elements that come from responsibly managed forestry sources, so that they continue to be a resource for current and future generations.
